Top 5 Favorite Beaches of Cozumel
We've been to almost every beach, and this list of beaches are the ones we frequent the most. Please check out the map I posted below for more local and "secret" beaches, as well as other beach clubs we enjoy visting.
Buccanos, our favorite beach club located in the north, is located on one of the most beautiful beaches of Cozumel. Not only is the food amazing, we love it for the snorkeling, clean pool and friendly staff.
Entrance fee's have changed recently, but at this posting, it is 400 pesos per person to enter the club, which in turn goes toward the bill at the end of your visit.
Once you are situated, gather your snorkeling gear and walk south on the beach until you get to the end of the hotel and find the pier. This is where we jump in, take the current and exit at the beach entrance at the beach club.

We LOVE this beach club for snorkeling (it's right next to Buccanos, so you would access the same pier). Also for the amazing pool, the crystal blue waters, and the friendly staff. Also has a zip line course and paddleboards to rent. Don't miss this beach!

Money Bar is another family favorite! We often ride our bikes here and enjoy snorkeling. Enter at the ramp, go toward the right a few yards then head out to the buoys where the best snorkeling is. Then head toward the pier where you can also jump off. The current can be strong at times.
We often bring out kayaks and paddleboards for the day.
The food for lunch and dinner is fantastic and the service is great. They don't hound you like other places.

The Money Bar Beach Club
Km 6.5 Carr. Costera SurMoney Bar is another family favorite! We often ride our bikes here and enjoy snorkeling. Enter at the ramp, go toward the right a few yards then head out to the buoys where the best snorkeling is. Then head toward the pier where you can also jump off. The current can be strong at times.
We often bring out kayaks and paddleboards for the day.
The food for lunch and dinner is fantastic and the service is great. They don't hound you like other places.

This beach is probably our favorite and the beach we visit the most. We take our beach gear, stop for tortas at El Cameron Dorado, then stop at the little store for drinks and spend the day boogie boarding and swimming. Pure heaven right here.
Please note that sometimes the current is very strong. If asked to get out of the water by the lifeguards, please be respectful and exit if asked.
Top 5 Favorite Restaurants
Cozumel is home to some of the most famous chefs and amazing food. We still haven't been to every single restaurant on the island, but these are our five most favorite.
Cozy and beautifully decorated restaurant in the Centro zone. Our friend Kathy is the owner, and a fantastic conversationalist - be sure to say hi! Great Filet Mignon, pasta and pizzas.

Located on the roof of our favorite day beach club. Only open for dinner in the evenings. Be sure to check their Facebook page for current hours, but they are usually open Wednesday to Saturday evenings.
In our opinion, it is the absolute best fine dining on the island. The food is beautifully designed and tastes amazing. Most of the time, we don't get there early enough to enjoy the backdrop of the ocean, but the restaurant ambiance is beautiful.
Best to make reservations early in advance.

Honestly, the best Mexican on the island. The decor, music, and food represent Mexico well. Do not miss it. They boast the best Margaritas on the island!

FAVORITE taco place. Hands down. So friendly and SO GOOD! Love their guacamole and their Tacos de Arrachera with flour tortillas and cheese.
