The Port Bolivar Ferry is a free ferry ride for you and your vehicle! (TX Dept of Transportation)!
The most amazing part is it has dolphins that you will see when traveling to Bolivar. Once the ferry leaves you are free to move about and take in the beauty! You will see Dolphins as well as Pelican Island!Once arriving at Bolivar drop off- you can drive around until the next ferry leaves back to Galveston (about every 20 minutes or so)!
