Food scene

*Authentic* tacos & birria specialty menu that is the absolute best in all of Pacific Beach, and it’s right across the street. I recommend the quesabirria, but the entire menu is fantastic.

Best brunch spot in North Pacific Beach. The setting and vibe is just as good as their food and coffees— make sure to see what the seasonal special is.

Working remotely? This is the best restaurant/bar to study or work from in Pacific Beach. The food and drinks are great, pleasant setting, and later hours compared to cafes allow you to get things done past 3pm.

Sightseeing

The closest beach access, and most incredible view from top of the hill. A favorite for surfers, I walk there almost every day. Not surfing? You can still relax there— or you can casually take the beach all the way to the boardwalk and beyond.

Hands down my favorite view of Pacific beach, I walk there nearly every day and it never gets old. Walk down the hill from the north, down Crystal Dr. and watch the scenic view open up for you. Perfect place to read a book, picnic, or just stroll by. Certain days of the week they have a donation-based sunset yoga there, as well.

If you’re up for a steep urban hike, my location is at the base of the mountain that leads right to the best view in all of San Diego, Mount Soledad! You could always drive there as well. It has a complete 360 view, where you’ll see the shores of La Jolla and beyond, Pacific Beach and on south, all of Downtown’s sky rises, and as far east as you can see. All while at a great memorial for our war veterans. Highly recommend.
