A beautiful spot for hiking, swimming and enjoying nature!
A beautiful spot with paved trails along the river. The forest center also has a small museum with information about the original indigenous people of the area and information about local fauna. They also host free classes for things like mushroom hunting and identification.

The area is a nature photographer paradise. There is also markers that show where the town of Bayocean used to be, before the sea reclaimed it. Cape Meares area does not require a day fee.
