Great park - something for everyone but the children's play area is superb and the 'bike' hire is fun. The small zoo is also fab for young kids. Go Ape is opening this summer for older kids.

Inexpensive soft play cafe for young children (under 6s). There is a variety of toys and equipment and plenty of books, newspapers and quiet-ish lounging space for parents. The cafe isn't bad.

Wonderful open space - feels like being in the country, lots of deer. Great for picnics and tree-climbing. Make a day of it - amble along the riverside in Richmond, then head to town to shop & eat!
