Food scene
Plenty of great bars and restaurants as well as a lovely sandy beach and safe sea to swim in. Many of the restaurants are owned by the Dutch, English or Belgians. However, many of the Spanish owned and run restaurants are absolutely amazing, so don't forget to book them at least a night in advance.
Market day in Moraira is Friday so be mindful that the town might be busy on a Friday. The market is well worth a visit and is also dog friendly!

Sightseeing
A very typically Spanish old town with lovely little streets to wander around. Saturday morning is Market morning with an array of stalls for fresh fruit and vegetables near to the Church in the centre of the old town. The locals are all very friendly and the bars always give a warm welcome.

Old town Xàbia has an abundance of amazing Tapas bars, our favourite being 9...Dondé Fabrizio - fabulous food and great atmosphere, in the summer you will be lucky to get a table unless you book around 3 days in advance.
The beaches of Xàbia and long and sandy, perfect for children. There are also an array of water sports. Again, busy in the summer but worth a visit!

Perfect for water sports, walks along the beaches and coastal paths. Great restaurants along the front and the old town up the top end of Calpe has a great atmosphere with plenty of locals chatting outside the bars and cafes. Calpe is a mecca for cyclists so if you bring your bike, don't forget to cycle through the town as most professional cyclists have ridden those rides. The Ifach Rock is a must to walk around, it gets busy in the summer however so maybe go early morning or late evening.

A lovely family run restaurant is at the top of the hill called El Canis. The setting is amazing with views of Calpe Rock and the valley. The Paella at El Canis is fabulous! We highly recommend you book, especially if you wish to eat outside in the summer months.
