Effective Wednesday, May 25, 2022, fully-vaccinated travellers to Barbados will no longer have to take a COVID-19 test to enter the country. Masks is mandatory indoors and on public transportation. Outdoors, masks are optional. Unvaccinated travelers still require a NEGATIVE pre-flight test within 3 days prior to arrival here on the island. Specimen must be taken at an accredited or recognized laboratory by a healthcare provider via any of the below: nasopharyngeal sample, oropharyngeal sample, nasal sample, anterior nares sample or mid-turbinate sample. https://bimsafe.gov.bb/

Crop Over in Barbados is the most anticipated event of the year! Celebrations with parades, parties and live music. You haven’t lived until you have experienced the carnival spirit that is felt in Barbados during Crop Over! It culminates the first Monday in August with a street parade

The Big Crop Over Weekend is the last weekend that leads up to Grand Kadooment Day. This is when the biggest and most popular events take place. The finale of Crop Over are said to be the most exciting of the year as the local Bajans say: “Crop Over it sweet fuh days!” *Here is an estimated 2022 schedule of carnival dates. Friday, 29th July 2022: Straight after the Pic-O-De-Crop Finals is when the Foreday Morning Jump Up kicks off and lasts well into the early hours of Saturday morning. This an event filled with lots of revelry. This is followed by a sunrise beach party

Saturday, 3oth July 2022: For those that still have lots of energy this is when Bridgetown Market starts, which runs for 3-days and is the biggest cultural street fair in the Caribbean.

Monday, 1st August, 2022: This is Grand Kadooment Day!Today is when carnival comes to Barbados! The highlight of Crop Over this is when a spectacular daytime street carnival & parade occurs, and also when the Tune-Of-The-Crop which is the Road March Song is judged.
