Sightseeing

This gothic cathedral is the center and the symbol of Milan. A visit to the rooftop is highly recommended especially on a sunny day. A good alternative is to drink a coffee at the upper floor of the nearby shopping mall “La Rinascente” : from there you’ll have a fabulous view of the roofs of the Duomo. A magnificent corridor between Duomo and La Scala Theatre, built between 1865 and 1877 by G. Mengoni: it still sticks to the original idea to create a porticoed street to function as a showcase and offer somewhere to take a pleasant stroll. Don’t miss the aperitif at Camparino (bar) in the Galleria. To walk around the rooftops circles and observe the view, you can access the high walkway via two elevators located inside the courtyard of Via Silvio Pellico 2.
