Fancy tacos, tostadas and ceviches for a great price, so delicious and they have original flavor combinations like marinated tuna with peanut macha salsa, or skirt steak with chorizo, potato puree and arugula dressing. We always order the Jones, Yiya and Loco Chavez. The filled empanadas for dessert are incredible, our favorites are the Nutella and the Ferrero Rocher.

The salad bar brings these tacos to the next level adding a fresh and crunchy addition with their wide range of salsas, coleslaw and toppings. Keep in mind that it closes at 6pm so its more of a breakfast/lunch spot.

Calle Río LermaThe most delicious Baja California style fish tacos. They have battered prawns, fish and cheese stuffed jalapeños, as well as marlin. The salad bar brings these tacos to the next level adding a fresh and crunchy addition with their wide range of salsas, coleslaw and toppings. Keep in mind that it closes at 6pm so its more of a breakfast/lunch spot.

For the best non-street tacos de pastor. They are always a safe bet, fresh, good portion size and salsas! I always order mine with cheese and you can ask for grilled pineapple if you want!

This place has some insanely good birria and so it's no surprise that the place is always full! They are the best I have found in the city BY FAR!! They recommend you get one of each taco and it's what I always do...a taco suave, taco dorado and quesobirria) and with 3 tacos you get a consomé (beef broth) which is essential for dipping your taco. I am drooling a little as I write this, they are that good!! Make sure to put plenty of salt and lime on your taco to get the full experience, and of course onion, cilantro, radish and salsa to your taste. They do a very famous birria pizza here too!! Expect to eat standing up at a high table, proper street taco style.

Another one of my go-to coffee spots. They really know their speciality coffees. They are also a trendy Japanese restaurant next door. This means you can get a Japanese pastry or dessert with your coffee, making it a pretty unique spot!

This is my favourite breakfast place. It has incredible coffee, pastries and juices, as well as a wide range of dishes. There is something for everyone, a range of toasts e.g. avocado toast, huummus toast etc, Mexican dishes such a flautas and chilaquiles, and crowd plasers such as waffles with fried chicken and bacon. My top 2 dishes are the chilaquiles and the fried chicken sandwich with salsa macha miel. With a side of pancakes for desert of course!

They have an unrivalled menu of juices and smoothies, as well as classic breakfast dishes such as Swiss enchiladas and molletes. They also have some incredible sandwiches. There are a couple of locations, but this one, by a fountain in Colonia Condesa, is a great place to people watch and dog watch since it faces a beautiful fountain.

This place is a gem for the coffee lover! They have some great sandwiches and sweet things too. The baristas put a lot of love into their coffee which is a reflection of the owners who are really passionate about their business. If you visit once you will undoubtedly go back!
