Their classic menu of your favorite American food with a twist is full of delicious options. Highly recommend the blackened chicken nachos, funky chips and Smash Burger. They also have daily specials. At night, the bar comes to life with live bands. Family friendly during the day. Great place for casual dining or day drinking. Festive seasonal events.

They are open on Sundays so it’s a great brunch option. Reservations recommended.

If you want to venture out of downtown, this place is well worth the drive to St. Simons. They have award winning BBQ and southern cuisine. An assortment of gourmet sauces to slather on your perfectly cooked meat. We always grab extra to take home.

10/10 recommend for pizza and Italian dishes, but honestly every single thing they make is delicious. They also surprisingly have an extensive selection of craft beer (canned but lots of variety). We love the Big Daddy for our brood. Buffalo chicken pizza is a crowd pleaser.

Formerly "Spanky's", Marshside Grill is a local tradition. It's located on the water, with a deck overlooking the same marsh view made famous by poet Sidney Lanier. We recommend the chicken fingers and spuds, but they have a ton of variety! Locally owned.

There are two Wee Pub locations but if you're on Jekyll Island we recommend Wee Pub Beach. Take a traditional Irish pub and throw in some shells! Great menu variety and they can handle a crowd.

For sushi fans, this place is a must! Great food and service with some local favorites thrown in. The Eddie special is the perfect little appetizer and is addictive! They also have a Brunswick location but the SSI locale is the original.

Once again, co-owned by Old town residents Ali & Chris, Silver Bluff is a fairly new brewery that has become a fast favorite! Solid list of craft beers with rotating taps. Enjoy their gorgeous Biergarten with comfy picnic tables, artificial turf for lawn game such as corn hole and occasional live music. There are usually a variety of food trucks throughout the week. Jefecita’s is a favorite!
