This is where Cpt. Cook discovered Hawaii. It is also where dolphins come to rest. You can swim out if you are a strong swimmer or rent kayaks. Snorkeling tour boats stop here.

First left after the airport. Gravel road. North side of bay is prettiest. There is a trail heading north that ends at beautiful Makalawena Bay (20 min hike). Pack water.
