Bring WATER! This is not an easy hike. But if you are an avid hiker, and take WATER, this is an excellent hike. Do not hike this mid July - end of August. Too many people get air lifted out in dead of summer because they are unprepared for hiking in a desert.

15519 Thornbush RdBring WATER! This is not an easy hike. But if you are an avid hiker, and take WATER, this is an excellent hike. Do not hike this mid July - end of August. Too many people get air lifted out in dead of summer because they are unprepared for hiking in a desert.
Excellent hiking, horseback riding, and biking trail. Be aware, passing is permitted in this order: Horses, bikes, walkers/hikers. If you see a horse being skittish, STOP. If you are on a bike, try to get as far off the trail as possible and dont make sudden movements. Some new horses are using this trail to get familiar with everything from bikes, to strollers, to strangers. Be kind and courteous.
