It's known for the preserved Victorian buildings of the Historic District, such as the Palace Bath House, Basin Park Hotel and Crescent Hotel, all built around the city's natural springs. In the nearby hills, soaring Thorncrown Chapel is a striking wood and glass church. To the south, Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuse is home to big cats and bears.

Bring your boat! Here are the local marinas!

There are 7 marinas located on Beaver Lake, which are located within individual Corps campgrounds. All of the marinas are full service marinas and provide the following services: gasoline, boat rentals, slip rentals, groceries and snacks, and water related rentals. Please be sure and contact each marina for winter and summer hours. The marinas closest to the cabin are Horseshoe Bend Marina in Rogers, (479) 925-1545; Lost Bridge Marina in Garfield, (479) 359-3222; and Starkey Marina in Eureka Springs,(479) 253-8194
