Mijas village is well known by the donkeys. If you would like to have a tour in the village to have experience with the old transport system in their time, it is recommended the Donkey taxi (7 €). It has several viewpoints to enjoy the nice landscapes.
Monuments to visit: Church Immaculada Concepción, the shrine Virgen of the Rock, church San Sebastian en the Liberty square, etc. To know the local history, agriculture and handcraft you can visit the History Museum which has a free entrance. The Bullfight museum next to the Bull fight ring (Paseo de las murallas) to know the Andalusian culture.
