My favorite spot for Mexican! There is both indoor and outdoor seating and the restaurant has a really cool vibe. The food is fantastic, I highly recommend their table side guacamole. They have a great selection of tequilas and margaritas as well! I recommend making a reservation but finding a seat at the bar is always a possibility too.

Our favorite spot for Ice cream! Make sure to bring your dog for the Canine Crunch too, Our dogs go wild for it! Less than ten minutes away and a great spot to go after hiking sleeping giant.

Sleeping Giant is basically in our backyard and an amazing hiking spot! There are over 30 miles of marked trails throughout, ranging from beginner to novice, along with some pretty spectacular lookout spots. We go here very often and there are some trails that are great for dogs as well!

They offer two tours, both a traditional as well as one lead by an actor which really immerses you in what the day to day life of the author and his family was like. I recommend making a reservation of their website ahead of time.

Fantastic art museum right down the road. I also recommend just spending some time strolling around Yale's campus. The architecture is so cool and so old. It's a sight to see.
