One Mile is a natural flowing pool located in Lower Bidwell Park and offers year round swimming and recreation. Free BBQs are available for use. There is also a large group event area available for reservations via CARD.

Bus Route/ Amtrak / Greyhound
The Route 4 B line bus picks up next to our house and runs to the downtown transit center where it connects to all other Chico B line bus routes. There are Bline bus routes that go to Paradise, Oroville, and Gridley. We are knowledgeable of the majority of these routes- we grew up in Chico and spent many years relying on the bus to get all around town! If you are planning to travel by city bus and need assistance or any have questions about routes we are happy to help! Website for Chico city bus is www.blinetransit.com

We encourage you to bring a bike(s)! Our town is very bike friendly, and this is one of the best ways to see the sites. We offer a cement bike rack in our backyard next to the cottage where you can safely lock your bike(s) up at night.
