Local favorite - My favorite place to grab a quick breakfast around here is this tiny hole in the wall old luncheonette where you sit at the little lunch bar. It's called Tom and Gus (but listed as "G's Coffee Shop) on the corner of 207th and Cooper Street, right on your way to the A train. Simple but delicious traditional American and Mexican options. Very limited seating. Stop in and see if there is a seat free.

We are five and ten minute walk to two major metro lines; the A train (express into midtown) and the #1 train (west side local), both getting you to Times Square and Columbus Circle within a 30 minute ride. We have abundant black car taxis around the neighborhood and of course UBER/LYFT. There is also a comfortable and convenient express bus, the bxm1 which will go downtown via the east side of Manhattan, making select stops for $6.00. Subway and regular bus fare is $2.75 with a free crosstown transfer.
