Adelaide has many great beaches but this one is a favourite for its limestone cliffs, ruined jetty and proximity to wineries and restaurants.

This is the closest city beach just down Sturt Road. There are plenty of cafe's and restaurants and the pub is right on the esplanade. The sunset from the jetty is spectacular with some fish and chips

Around the corner from my place, this is a great spot for a walk and has a great view of the city.

There is a beautiful 7 km coastal board walk which passes through here. This is a stunning site for it's red and limestone coloured cliffs and glacial rocks that are preserved here.

There is a beautiful 7 km coastal board walk which passes through here. This is a stunning site for it's red and limestone coloured cliffs and glacial rocks that are preserved here.
The walk from here up Mt Lofty is beautiful and the reward is a broad view of the city and a coffee at the top. Laziness gets you a look at the waterfall and a meal at the bottom cafe. Everyone wins.

A short walk from my place, this is a great way to access the Adelaide rail network, especially if you have a bike and want to take it with you.

There are closer bus stops but this one is still only a couple of minutes on foot and has the most regular services into and out of the city.

This is a beautiful family winery, I worked there for over 15 years and can recommend some other great cellar doors to visit. The gardens are beautiful year round and they offer lunch.
