This is a 5 km seaside walk, about 15 minutes from our Airbnb, you can watch the seaplanes, take a ferry to little islands, walk down to the crab dock, eat fish and chips, enjoy tea and coffee, take home fresh catch to cook at home. There is an amazing playground there that will keep kids busy for quite awhile.

Maffeo Sutton Park

This is a lovely smaller beach about 5 minutes from our Airbnb. It is a great place to sit and contemplate and watch rowers out on the lake.

Parksville Beach is about half an hour north of our Airbnb, it is miles of beautiful sand, a nice walk along the beach, eating places nearby like Aioli and DQ. There is an amazing play park here for kids that will keep them busy for awhile! (as well as water park in the summer).

Coombs: Goats on the Roof. Besides watching the goats on the roof, there is lots of stuff to look at in the Market, an awesome Ice Cream Place, and at the back of the property there is the Cuckoo Trattoria and Pizzeria- a great place to eat pasta :)
