In our opinion, the best bakery in Raleigh. From freshly baked bread loaves to a full pastry counter Blouted Bread has something for everyone. A few of our favorites, the ham and cheese croissant, everything croissant (with a cream cheese filling), morning bun, and pull apart bread. Picnic tables are available for outdoor dining, first come first serve. You'll find them around the corner to the right when exiting the bakery. A short drive to the southwest side of downtown Raleigh that is worth every bite. *Closed Monday and Tuesday

Located in the Transfer Food Hall, Benchwarmers Bagels is our favorite bagel shop in Raleigh — hands down. The za'atar bagel is one of our favorites. With rotating specials and Detroit-style pizza every Friday and Saturday evenings (to snag one pre-order!), be sure to check out their Instagram account to learn more. Outdoor dining on the backside of the food hall. *Closed on Mondays

Local to the Oakwood neighborhood, they specialize in house-smoked meats but serve it up in a unique way. Don't pass up the deviled eggs! Be sure to check their Facebook or Instagram accounts for their current menu as it changes daily.

With a focus on Belgian ales and IPAs, they offer a wide selection and have something for everyone. The Brasserie at Neuse River Brewing serves European Bistro-inspired fare with a North Carolina twist to complement their Belgian-inspired craft beers.

Wilson's serves up locally sourced, scratch-made sandwiches, flatbreads, and salads in a casual counter-service environment. Dine inside the spacious warehouse space, on the outdoor deck, or in the spacious Beer Garden (which is shared with their sister company, Lynnwood Brewing Concern).

As the owners like to say, this is a 'YOUR FAVORITE NOT-QUITE-JEWISH, A LITTLE ITALIAN-ISH, MAYBE SOUTHERN SANDWICH SHOP'. Aka it's delicious and a short walk from the property.

Grocery

When seeking out a shop with more locally and regionally sourced produce and prepared foods we swing by The Fresh Market. The local grocery chain has been in operation since 1982.
