Enjoy a beautiful romantic get away at the The Canyon Beer and Wine Garden within walking distance from the condo. Enjoy a string lit outdoor setting around a decorative fire while you sip on a local wine, cider, or beer, and enjoy a wonderful evening meal.

Delicious pizza, wings, salads, and much more at Arizona Pizza Company! Generous portions, great local beers, billiards, and indoor/outdoor seating. Great chill laid back setting and awesome food and beautiful views from the outside setting. Their chef salad with extra ranch is my personal fav:)

Sightseeing/hiking

Multiple trails, paved and off road, from beginner to expert hikers! One of the most beautiful places to hike. Some of my favorite hikes are the main paved path (easy), 7 falls (moderate, and most beautiful during seasons of water flow), phoneline trail (easy to moderate, but long and beautiful), and for the skilled hikers, Blackett's Ridge (difficult, but has by far the most stunning views once you get to the summit). Be sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen.

Our very own natural oasis in the desert. This is a beautiful and historical place you can come for picnic in the shade and a beautiful stroll down the beautiful paths. Walk through the educational display buildings to learn about the history of the land.

Beautiful paved trail with great views. From the top, you have a breathtaking view of the city of Tucson. Parking can be tricky sometimes. There is no parking lot, so you usually end up parking on the side of the street a ways down from the entrance to the path (as it is a popular hike). I would say this is a moderate hike because of its elevation gain, but is really not all to long. Definitely worth the trip.

Take a drive up Mt. Lemmon. Enjoy a cool picnic or one of many hikes with stunning views. Or just drive and enjoy the views, no hiking even necessary. FYI this is a nice option to escape the heat on a hot day. Mt Lemmon is usually about 20 degrees cooler at the top than Tucson is in town. If you want to learn about the history of the mountain as you drive up, download the 'Mt. Lemmon Science Tour' from your app store and it will tell you at which cross-street to start the audio. If you drive the posted speed limit and follow instructions it should be a guided tour to not only teach you the history of the land, but also to point out vegetation and geographical changes as you increase in elevation.

The best Sonoran Dogs in Tucson!! If you've never had a Sonoran Dog or dont know what it is, check this out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonoran_hot_dog Be aware, they only accept cash, and if there is an item you do NOT want on your dog, you may want to google those words in Spanish before you order:) Also, keep in mind this is a food truck, so there is covered seating, but not indoor seating/AC. But really, its a must visit!

One of most delicious and authentic Mexican restaurants in Tucson! They are not open Mondays or Tuesdays, and you are likely to have to wait if you go for dinner (because EVERYONE knows its the bomb!!), you may be able to slide in without a wait for lunch. Their chicken is juicy tender and spiced to perfection within all of their dishes.

One of the best brunch places I've been! Bubble waffle and their Dutch Apple Baby are my two fav's:). Everything I've had there has been great. Also, this is located in a fun little strip mall, so take a stroll around and enjoy the fun little shops.

Biking/walking/jogging

A paved biking path that loops all the way around Tucson. There are some areas on the path that do not connect right up and you need to ride down the road a bit. Also, there are some road-crossings (just to keep in mind for the kiddos). Most of the path though is a very easy trail and off the main road. This is not just for biking though. Many people walk and jog the path as well.

Park/Playground/Picnic

Visit this beautiful park in town. There are playgrounds for the kids, pavilions and picnic tables. Come watch the ducks swim in the pond and see if you can spot any turtles while you rest under a shady tree. Or, take a walk through our parks beautiful rose garden. There is also a paved loop, about 3.5 miles or so around the golf course and zoo that are right there as well.

Sightseeing

Its a drive, and it can be hot, but is worth it! Bring lots of water, sunscreen, and a sun hat. This is actually like a living museum, or like a natural habitat zoo that you will walk through. Some things are outside, but much of it is out. See the true beauty of Tucson while you learn about its local wildlife and plant life. Catch an animal presentation by one of Desert Museums experts and be amazed about what you learn about the uniqueness of life in the desert.
