If you are craving pizza, Wiseguy Pizza has the most unique types of pizza from chicken tikka to korean bbq! Definitely my favorite pizza place in DC.

This is where you should go for your cupcakes! The cupcakes are delicious, larger and and you have more options than Georgetown Cupcakes which usually has a very long line. Their frozen dessert options are wonderful as well!

U St. corridor has a lot of restaurants, bars, but also hosts the annual Funk Parade, jazz concerts, and generally has a more artistic vibe as you'll see a lot of beautiful graffiti on the walls as you walk through.

Sightseeing
Renwick Gallery is small but the times I have been they have had really cool contemporary exhibits. You might be able to check their hours and the exhibits before heading there, as it could be different due to COVID.

City Center always creatively decorates the plaza and is a great place to take photos! Even though I'm a local, I am guilty of going here and taking photos with friends. Otherwise it is a shopping center (more on the fancy end); nonetheless, great for walking around and visiting some restaurants nearby.

One of my favorite parks in DC! A lot of weddings and proposals happen at this park (the fountain is gorgeous), but it's also great for grabbing the blue yoga mat in your closet and doing some outdoor yoga!

The metro is the fastest way to get around
The metro requires a SmartTrip card that you can get from the machines at any metro station, and is the fastest way to get around if you do not have a vehicle. The DC buses accept cash, so if you don't have the SmartTrip card that's ok! The closest station to where you will be staying is the Rhode Island Ave. metro, as well as numerous bus stops.
