If you have a car, I suggest you to go to this restaurant that it's rooted in tradition. You can enjoy some typical Sicilian dishes with a nice atmosphere. Ask for their house wine accompanied with "Gassosa" and their appetizers. Since it is close to Etna, at night it can get a little cold, so always bring a jacket just in case.

I recommend to park the car in Catania station and get a bus. It will leave you in Taormina centre. You can walk towards Isola Bella, have a swim and take a cable car to the centre of Taormina (3 euros) and visit the theater and eat granita at Bam Bar.
