Hiking
I've hiked this trail many times, and it amazes me every time. This is a tougher hike and would not be recommended for small children. The terrain gets pretty steep, and many boulders to climb over, under, and around. Once you get to the top, though, it makes it all worth it. There is a fire trail you can use that is much easier but still requires climbing towards the top.
*Effective 3/1/22 they require a ticket/permit to hike this trail due to overcrowding. The permit is $1 per person but needs to be purchased prior to going as there's no cell service at the base. You can find more info at www.nps.gov

Beautiful lake that offers paddle boats and kayak rentals.
Beautiful park with many walking trails for kids and pets. Playgrounds for kids and a dog park for the pets. You can also fish and feed the ducks.

If you're really feeling adventurous Skydive Orange is a great place to go. My husband went a few years ago and everyone was very friendly and professional. He got an amazing video to remember the moment!
