A separate area for families. This makes a great sunday walk from the apartment. Go early in the morning or on a week day to avoid the biggest crowds. We like to bring some food and have breakfast on warm summer days, before it gets too busy and too hot! Make sure to pass by Evita Espressobar on the way to get coffee, a smoothie or something to eat.

A big park on the western side of town. Very nice for a stroll, a picnic or a run. Also the sculpture park called Vigelandsparken is situated within this area. One of Oslos major tourist attractions. Take the underground to the Majorstuen station and walk from there.

This is the bothanical garden with lots of thematical areas. This is of course most beautiful in the spring and summer. I particularly like the mountain garden with all the beautiful flowers found in the Norwegian mountains.
