This is a lovely beach where the Gannel Estuary runs through out to sea. It does have a undercurrent so please be aware of the signs, but well worth a visit. Beautiful for an evening stroll too. Parking is National Trust.

This is a must, even if you cannot make it down the very steep steps (I don't like heights), but the view is wonderful from the cliff tops. The best sunsets in Cornwall can be seen from here.

If your into surfing, this is the best beach in the UK. Not my favourite for just sitting on, but the surf is awesome.

Fistral Beach
If your into surfing, this is the best beach in the UK. Not my favourite for just sitting on, but the surf is awesome.
This is another one of my favourite beeches. It's about an hour from our property but I love it. You need to visit when the tide is out as you can walk around the bay and it's like something off Robinson Crusoe with a beautiful waterfall.

This is not just a beach, it is home to the famous Hedgehog Ice Cream. Vanilla Ice Cream with clotted cream, coated in crushed nuts. Yummy!!!

Car park just beyond the village of Crantock. Next to The Bowgie Inn. Beautiful path along coastal cliff from the car park around to the right to over look a magnificent view of Crantock Beach, following the path around with views of the bay towards Polly Joke Beach. A small sheltered Sandy cove. Car park only 10 minutes from beach, bit of a hilly climb back!

Sightseeing
This is one of my favourite places to visit. Views are stunning and the history of how one lady started it's construction in her garden is awe inspiring. Well worth a visit but on a sunny, warm day and if you book a show, even better, the sunset is wonderful.

Eden is one of those places where you may not probably visit twice, but well worth a look. It sustainability journey is fantastic. It's lovely and warm in there so good for a colder day.

The home of Rattler Cyder. The tasting is a little disappointing as you have to pay extra for the brandy and gin tasting and you get an exceptionally small thimble to try the cyder from. However, it is interesting and the little farm is great. The pigmy goats are so lovely, they escape their pens for a cuddle.

What's not to love about a visit to St Ives. Just stunning.
Polperro village is so quaint, You can catch a little bus from the car park into the village itself. A walk up to the headland is lovely too.

Beautiful tiny village, not much there, but just lovely. I would suggest taking the ferry as the drive round by car is quite a long journey. The Idle Rocks is great for a lunch with a view (see Food Scene).

Worth a visit, it's lovely. You can take a boat trip too and it takes you past the derelict china clay works, very eyrie but quite interesting!

Strange one this! - I love Port Isaac and have stayed in the white building on the right hand side of the picture many times, however!! there is not much there. It is home to the fantastic series Doc Martin and most people are surprised when they actually see the surgery, it's tiny and on a road that leads nowhere. The village is like a horseshoe. You walk down one side of the harbour and up the opposite side. That's it!, but there is just something special about it!

A visit to the new Aqua Spa is a must. Expensive but so beautiful. The headland also have another day spa that is very relaxing too and well worth a pamper day.

The walk from St Ives to Carbis Bay or visa versa is beautiful. I sometimes park at Carbis Bay Train Station and walk to St Ives, catching the train back and it saves the worry of parking in town.
