Unfortunately, you do need to pay to park in the parking lot at Marginal Way.

Directly across the street from the cottage sits the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge. Frequently, large cranes rest and feed in the water and grass across from the house. Walk south on Seaside Ave about 100 yards and there is a walking trail through the refuge where you will see a variety of birds, plants, etc. Tip, take bug spray if you go, bugs aren’t too bad but the spray can make the walk more enjoyable.
