Stanmer Park and Estate - Brighton's largest park. It is a gateway between the city and the South Downs National Park. This is the furthest from the apartment - maybe 1 hour walk or 15/20 min taxi. Or check out buses here: www.buses.co.uk

Verkehrsmittel

Supermarkets

On North street you’ll find a Sainsbury’s and the Co-operative or if you want larger supermarkets there is a Morrison’s on St James Street (10mins) or a Waitrose on Western Road (15mins). There are plenty of express supermarkets about town.
Verkehrsmittel

Taxi

Taxi’s can be flagged almost anywhere in the city, but there are also lots of taxi ranks – at the bottom of North Street opposite the Pavilion is the closest. Streamline Taxis: 01273 747474 (if at the apartment then order it to collect you outside Hotel Du Vin just around the corner on Ship Street – it’s easier for them to pull in there). Another taxi number is 01273 204060.
Verkehrsmittel

Bus

Almost all the buses go from London Road or Kemptown all the way up North Street to the Clocktower and Churchill Square and then along the Western Road. You can view Brighton and Hove bus timetables here: www.buses.co.uk

Train

Brighton station is about a 15 minute walk from the apartment. If you head up through the Lanes to North Street, walk up to the Clock Tower and turn right onto Queens Road, at the end of this road is the station. Trains to London Victoria take about an hour, and you can get trains for about £5 to places like Hove or Lewes.

Parking

Parking in Brighton can be tricky as a lot of the spaces are for permit holders only. One of the cheaper local car parks is Churchill Square which is accessible from West Street. The Lanes car park is closest to you (on Black Lion Street) and there are a number of NCPs in Brighton. You can park along the seafront towards Hove for a limited amount of time - it can get busy on the weekends so it’s sometimes best to park a little further out and walk or get the bus in.
