City/town information
Manson is a small town on Lake Chelan. When driving, you pass Chelan city and soon you will see wineries on each side of your car. Keep going and you will pass the MIll Bay Boat launch, a gas station on your right (signs to the local Casino) and orchards.
**In Manson you can walk everywhere:
Walk to wine tasting
Walk to the local grocery
Walk to the waterfront - shortcut through the pedestrian gate past the sport court.
Swim in our local Wapato Ridge pool, swim at the waterfront - lifeguards usually on duty and they have life jackets kids can borrow.

Swimming
Willow Park is the closest "sandy beach" in Manson. The parking lot is small but it is nice to be close. I recommend getting an early start for the best parking and spot on the beach. Other swimming or beach options listed below.
Great place to take a dip in the lake!! No "sand but great swimming." There are usually life guards on duty, life jackets are hanging on the rail to borrow; this place is the number one most refreshing spot in the heat of the day. Take a stroll and dip in the lake!
*Even wading in feels amazing!
*Instead of sand there are large cement steps gradually lowering you into the water.
*You can use floaties in the swim area. **If it is too windy, the life guards will ask you to not use the floaties as they don't want floaties drifting away.
*There are bathrooms here!
If you have your own stand up paddleboards or kayaks an easy place to launch them is at the boat launch next to the boat rental next to this swim area. This boat launch is not used for the public so it makes a great place to launch your small water craft.
*Sometimes there is a Hawaiian shaved ice stand close by!
Manson Bay Park

**A short walk away is the Lake View Drive In - Great burgers and shakes.

485 W Manson HwySandy beach and a great swim place! Putt Putt Golf, skate board park, lots of space to bring and use your own bocce ball set or throw a frisbee. There is a playground for the kids.

This is a park you may see on the way into Chelan and on the way out. Parking is a bit tight so I recommend getting there early. NIce picnic spot!

You are "in Chelan" and this is a fun way to get in the Lake! Get there early and grab yours spot. Parking is $10 and they take credit cards. IF you get their late and there is no space......it happens - you can drop the kids with an adult and all the stuff for them to set up and you can drive a short ways - to the other side of Safeway and usually find street parking.
**Bring some sand toys for the kids to dig with, floaties for the water and a packed cooler. Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses are a must and if you have an umbrella and some beach chairs then you will be all set.
There is a playground too and plenty of green grass (some in the shade) to throw a frisbee in.
*Skate park here, put put golf is here for a fee, ok to launch small water craft such as stand up paddle boards but follow the signs.

The Lady of the Lake boat is best with reservations - it will take you all the way to the end of the lake where the small town of Stehekin. Stehekin is not reachable by boat.
Plan on spending 4 hours in town before loading up for your trip back.
**It is possible to arrange for an express one way to give you more time in town.

1418 W Woodin AveThe Lady of the Lake boat is best with reservations - it will take you all the way to the end of the lake where the small town of Stehekin. Stehekin is not reachable by boat.
Plan on spending 4 hours in town before loading up for your trip back.
**It is possible to arrange for an express one way to give you more time in town.
Guests have reported they had a blast on these bike tours! Electric bikes are used and one of the tours takes you to three wineries (tastings are extra and modest drinking only is permitted due to it being a bike tour.)
The company has a family friendly tour too however the minimum age for youth is 15 due to the bikes being electric.
Both tours come highly recommended by past guests!
