About 5 minutes drive from the cottage we have The Jetty Cafe at Dennes Point which does breakfasts and lunch and good coffee. On Fridays they do fish and chips night (good idea to pre-book) and on Saturday evenings they do delicious wood-fired oven pizzas.

Bruny Island Cheese Company has good cheese, bread and locally brewed beer. Also good for a coffee. About a 20 minute drive from your accommodation on the way to South Brunt Island.

When I drive down to the ferry from Hobart I get my fresh vegetables and bread and milk and some from a roadside shop in Oyster Cove called the Oyster Cove Fruit and Vegetable Store. It is only 5 minutes from the ferry terminal in Kettering and has good fresh local produce.

I recommend that you do your provisioning and purchase your food and drink supplies in Hobart or on the drive down to Bruny Island. Queen's Doughnuts makes a perfect croissant with 2 or 3 batches baked at set times every day.
