Worth the 25 minute drive! I've lived in Texas and New Mexico and I would go out on a limb and say this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. Authentic, made from scratch. It's about a 25 minute drive, but worth it if you are craving good Mexican food. The salsa is made fresh daily. They have $1 street tacos on Tuesdays (I can only fit 5, but they have 8 different types). On Sunday's there is an all you can eat buffet for $15 which includes fajitas. Highly recommended!

You would probably drive by this little cafe and not even know it exists, but they limited selection of pastries are delicious. The strawberry scone is not super dry and very tasty. Best oatmeal raisin cookie around. Nice quaint place for a quiet morning coffee or your favorite cafe drink.

I love this place and if you are looking to eat pre-prepared meals, for under $10, they have healthy take and heat home cooked meals. Besides the cafe, the rest of the products sold are from local vendors that rent out store space. There are lots of baked goods and treats, so if you have a weakness for carbs, beware. Great place to grab a local latte and a treat.

If you are looking for a place to go for a jog around a little lake, this is a nice place with a paved mile long path. Along the path are workout stations. There are also playgrounds for children.

If you are bringing your fur buddy, then stop by the dog park. There are two areas. One is for over 25lbs and one is for under 25lbs. There is also a lake for dogs to practice retrieving as well as a training obstacle area. Be sure to login to the City of Derby website to view the rules of the dog park. No permit is required to use unless you live in Derby.
