Walk through the beautiful pine trees and see the ocean down below. Take a great coffee in the Lift Cafe. A gorgeous old Victorian water lift station, refigured as a recommended cafe.
You can also join the boardwalk across the beach and walk to the harbour arm, around a 30 minute walk.

Walk across the fields from the Studio, you enjoy the 1000 year old castle. Not open to the public, but just a lovely walk, then go on through the woods to Brockhill Park, a great little cafe, and beautiful lake walk.

45 minute drive across the beautiful Romney Marsh. Rye is a favourite, historic and full of lively little cafes, restaurants, a harbour and independent shops. Out guests love it.

So much history, and visit the stunning cathedral. Shops, restaurants and cafes. See all the beautiful little villages around Canterbury too and then visit pretty seaside town Whitstable famous for seafood and history.

Verkehrsmittel
So much to do within walking distance of the studio.
The town, seafront, Brockhill park and Saltwood castle, are all within walking distance.
It's very easy to catch a bus to Seabrook and Folkestone and further along the south coast. The bus stop is 7 minutes walk from the Studio.
Nicht verpassen
There are Saturday farmers markets in Hythe and Sandgate.
Sandgate has a lovely seafront walkway, grab a coffee and walk along the cliff and through the beautiful pine gardens into Folkestone.
