City/town information
Home to some of the best skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer, Winter Park is a beautiful mountain getaway within a reasonable drive from Denver. Aside from the downhill bike park at the resort, there are excellent trails all over town, winding through the foothills and even climbing up to the continental divide. You won't find a stuffy "Vail Valley" attitude here--Winter Park is incredible down to earth and still in touch with its rural mountain roots.
