Beaches nearby & Klmore Quay Village is only 5 minutes drive away where the local catch comes in. Great for kids to see the fishing boats. 39 minute drive from the cottage.

Fancy a trip to a fishing village full of thatch cottages? Then head to Kilmore Quay which is full of fishing boats & a great atmosphere. If you fancy just getting a bag of fish & chips & sitting in the sunshine, this is a great spot. I personally recommend the monk fish goujons & chips, a real treat!

A local favourite for us, usually when we are travelling back to Wicklow. Only 28 minutes from the cottage & a great family staple. Cathy & Aine are sure to give you a warm welcome & is super for evening dining with the kids & lunchtimes also! Great food & highly recommend their burgers, pizzas, fish & chips & Sunday roast.

Great for picking up foodie treats such as bread, olives, cheeses & wine with a great restaurant also situated here for lunch & dinner. Great art gallery also run by the owners in this building. Fantastic wine selection & worth a visit for a browse & some purchasing.

The Local Pub situated in Dunbrody House do a great pub grub menu & a pint! Very old style pub on the grounds & also a beautiful drive to get to on the Duncannon Line. Duncannon Beach nearby along with a great playground for the kids!
