This is the world famous Neptune's Staircase just a 4 min walk from the cottage. It's must see when travelling to Fort William. This is part of the Caledonian Canal that travels from Corpach basin all the way up to Inverness.

Glenfinnan Viaduct is also known as the famous Harry Potter Bridge. if you are hiring a car it a short 25 min drive down the road towards Mallaig. or even better yet you can catch the train from across the road from the cottage and travel through amazing scenery on your way there. The train stops right at Glenfinnan.

The train stops right at Glenfinnan.

Annoch Mor is a great place to visit. outstanding views from the top restaurant on a sunny day. In the summer you can watch the Mountain Bike World Cup here. This is a fantastic weekend for all ages. In the winter you will find this to be a superb ski resort. Weather permitting you can have some fantastic skiing on the slopes.
Ben Nevis is the highest point in the UK. It looks stunning on a sunny day and the views are outstanding. Climbing it should be done with plenty preparation. Don't underestimate how difficult it can be and weather changes quickly so please climb it with care.

Great place to wander around especially on a rainy day. Great gem stones and Crystal's to look at and buy. Also some dinosaur bones on show.

This is a must do when visiting Fort William. Travelling to Mallaig and back on the beautiful and history soaked Jacokite Steam Train is just incredible. Although it is advised to book tickets well in advance because it is a very busy Train.
