Another great coffee spot. Flat whites is located in a cute little mint green trailer on Market Street near the cathedral. They're known for their quirky extravagant hot chocolate and unique cookies! Definitely worth popping by.

Every fortnight the Hampshire Farmers' Market can be found on the high street Sunday morning. Great place to support local farmers and merchants and find some unique items to Hampshire. Love buying local honey and there are often local craft beers and gin available in addition to vegetables, meats and cheeses.

A must see for families and adults. The tour guides have wonderful tours that include great history of this ancient cathedral that will keep your children interested. Ours love the story of how William Walker single handedly saved the Cathedral from collapse.

Take a picnic to Wolvesey Castle, let the kids play hide and seek and explore the ruins of this amazing 11th century castle in the center of Winchester. There's usually an ice cream truck parked outside the entrance where you can grab a cone for the walk back to the town centre.

Amazing nature reserve right on our doorstep. We love taking walks through here, seeing the local nature and beautiful river. We often see deer, ducks and various birds including Kingfishers and Sparrow Hawks on our walks.
