One of the forbidden areas during the 1950s to 1991 for most of the Albanians. The Block was the neighbourhood that the old regime leaders used to leave in.
Nowdays and since the early 00s is one of the most vivid areas of Tirana,full with bars and restaurants. If you're meeting someone, you're probably meeting them in this area.
Among other stuff, you ca still see the house of the ex dictator Hoxha in the neighborhood.

Bunk'art is a museum built in one of Albanias biggest bunkers.
The Bunker was built by the regime of Enver Hoxha and was supposed to acomodate the high-end people of the regime incase of a nuclear attack.
If you want to have a quick taste of the regime of Enver Hoxha this is the place.
