Located inside the Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa, Terra Bistro has a unique menu, where about 90% of the ingredients are organic. I recommend going for their small and medium plates menus - there are lots of great items on there, but some of my faves are the slider, the chorizo-stuffed dates, grilled cheese fingers, and the gnocchi with lamb ragout. The Coconut dessert is also amazing, and highly recommended if you're a coconut person like me. Dave behind the bar is a cool guy, too.

I recommend going for their small and medium plates menus - there are lots of great items on there, but some of my faves are the slider, the chorizo-stuffed dates, grilled cheese fingers, and the gnocchi with lamb ragout. The Coconut dessert is also amazing, and highly recommended if you're a coconut person like me. Dave behind the bar is a cool guy, too.

The restaurant is cozy, and is quite popular, so be sure to make reservations.

This is the closest bus stop to my condo. It's on the Sandstone line, which is free. Schedules change with the season, and can be found on the Town of Vail's website, but on average the bus runs every 30 minutes from early morning to late at night.

Adventure Ridge at Vail Resort is a great spot for both summer and winter activities: zipline/canopy tour, mountain coaster, disc golf, snow tubing, etc. There's lots of great stuff to keep you busy if mountain biking, hiking, or skiing aren't quite your thing.

Upscale bowling lanes, full bar and restaurant, and they often turn the bar/restaurant into a night club on weekend nights. Their bar manager comes up with some unique concoctions.

Shopping
The easiest place to rent skis, so that you don't have to carry them back to the loft. Vista Bahn Ski Rentals is located at the base of Gondola One. You can leave your skis overnight with them, then come back and get them in the morning as you're getting on the Gondola. Plus, they offer a 20% discount if you reserve your skis online (vistabahnskirentals.com).
If you're bringing your own skis, they also rent ski lockers.
