This place has a romantic and upscale appeal and I love the decor inside (complete with a cat!) as well as sitting outside on a nice day. Dine on fresh local cuisine and local wines.

Nature experience

Beautiful dog friendly park with easy hiking trails bordering the Dungeness River! The center is open daily and features fascinating taxidermy local birds. The center is also a family friendly place to learn about wildlife, fish, plants, and the peninsula geography.

Sightseeing

My top must see while in Port Angeles! This 18 mile road is 2 lane and paved. Drive safely or take a daily bus from downtown Port Angeles and emerge on the top of a mountain! Take in panoramic views of Mt Olympus and the inner olympics. Take a trail behind the main parking lot, or drive to trailheads past the Visitor Center or down Obstruction Point Road. Avoid busy times where the summer wait could be an hour +. In the summer time the main road is open 24 hours but it is a good idea to check the Olympic national park website for road closures.
