The BEST Italian food in Pittsburgh, everything is made in house from scratch by an Italian family from Lucca, pasta made by hand daily by the mom <3 The tiramisu is legendary. Stop next door at The Grapperia--a grappa bar owned by the same family--and try my favorite cocktail, the LaVanda, or grab a bottle of wine to enjoy over dinner next door. They dont take reservations at Piccolo and it can be hard to get a table on a busy night, but lunchtime is a great way to try the cuisine if you cant beat the dinner crowd
