the canyons are packed with traffic in the morning on good snow days, if you want the freshies, wake up early. I would plan on getting to the base of either canyon by 7 am and please don't idle your car if you are stuck in traffic, it's bad for the environment

nps store is a super market that sells expired and discounted food. I do a lot of shopping here
