Visit the majestic medieval Lincoln Cathedral just 19 miles away set with its own Castle on site too. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary and claimed to be the tallest building in the world for 238 years until the great pyramid of Giza.
The grounds beginning to be built in 1072, for hundreds of years the Cathedral held one of the four remaining copies of the original Magna Carta which is now securely displayed in Lincoln Castle.
