Great trendy Italian (Rome) restaurant, small plates, excellent Italian wine list, with some great options by the glass. Sister restaurant to A16 in the Marina (also yummy!) It's tiny, make a reservation as far in advance as possible. There are two outside tables if it's good weather.

Just opened (March 2016), with THE most authentic NY bagels in SF. So, there's usually a line outside, I take a mug of coffee WITH me while I wait.

Amazing Southern Indian food (think Goa/Kerala), which means there's a lot of seafood options. Adore the calamari! VERY innovative cocktails. And of course lots of DOSA options. Across the street from the Kabuki Sundance Theatre, so a great date spot for dinner &/or drinks - & then a movie. Plus, "The Fillmore" (live music) is only 2 blocks away.

Great bar if you want to catch sports on tv while your other half is shopping on Fillmore. They make excellent truffle fries, + they have burgers, etc. too. They have a handful of outside tables if it's a nice night.

I love talking visiting friends & family on a 9 mile walk - from my house down to Marina Green, then along the bay to Crissy Field, just past the Warming Hut, but before Fort Point, we take the stairs up, and head over the GG Bridge to Marin. Once over, we look around down past Cavallo Point. Often stopping for Brunch, Lunch or a cocktail/glass of wine on their porch with beautiful SF Bay/GG Bridge views, then we continue walking down into Sausalito. Eventually taking the ferry back over to SF. There are a zillion of fantastic spots for photos along the route. This walk is one of my favorite ways to spend a "perfect day" in SF.

The world famous Fillmore - live music venue, is only 5 blocks away. It sells out quickly, but you can often pick up tickets from scalpers on the sidewalks for a show that night. Inside the acoustics are amazing, and I LOVE the chandeliers! Make sure you go to the upstairs bar to check out all of the concert posters & look for the live size naked Janis Joplin photo in the downstairs bar.
