Definitely worth a visit if you have the time, some truely amazing creatures to be seen here. You will need a car or transfer as it's just outside town on the Broome Highway.

Cable Beach Sunset
Check your weather app for sunset times and get down onto the beach at least an hour before the sun sets over the Indian Ocean. 22 kms of pristine white sandy beach, great place to relax and socialise. Broome Time is a real thing. Everyone is super laid-back and shops may open and close at different times than they advertise. It’s best to just relax and go with the flow.

Definitely pack your bathers
Broome is tropical and can get very hot and sticky so prepare to sweat and spend the entire day in the pool if you time your visit wrong! The humid, wet season runs from November to April but during Broome’s winter (May to October) you’ll get dry, perfect summer-like days and cool evenings. Pack your bathers, hat and sunglasses. Cool, light and relaxed clothing is perfect. Broome is pretty laidback so most the time there’s no need to get dressed up, smart casual (shorts, polo & loafers or summer dresses) is acceptable in most establishments.
