Parks & Nature
Very large Victorian park. Still has some of the features from the era so you can imagine what it felt like to stroll through here in 1900. Egyptian baths, grass tennis courts, Frog pond, and Cafe Madeleine. There is also the park keepers original cottage and a small local art gallery. On Saturdays, there is a fantastic farmers market with exceptional local foods and crafts, and live music. Also great for walks, runs, sports, biking, walking your dog, etc.

Large gardens with changing exhibits and events. Hosts Chinese New Year Festival and other events yearly. Love the Japanese gardens. Nice restaurant on site.

One of the best parks in America. Here you will find many popular museums, the St. Louis Zoo, festivals, and much more. Also great for walking, running, and biking! Site of the 1904 Worlds Fair. You MUST stop here while in STL. Trolley service daily. Some of the buildings still standing from the fair like the replica of the Palace at Versailles, and the Grand Basin, and pavilion. Secret paths all through park with interesting sites everywhere. Great for bird watching. If that weren't enough, it also houses the ice-skating rink, two golf courses, boathouse with paddle boat rentals, and Jewel box. Stop at the Visitor's Center first.
