Emblematic bar of La rochelle. All youngster go there to get wasted for generation from 4 to 8pm. Simplistic bar, no music, old furnitures. Just wine and friends and a lots of noise.
Created in 1933 to provide wine to the Sailors it became an 'institution'.
Walk by/in around 6-7pm a Saturday.

Down the entrance of the building, you can’t rent bike there at this adress. Don’t forget that you have access to a private box in the courtyard of the building to secure your bikes (ask the realtor if they key hasnt been provided to you)

21 Rue Léonce VieljeuxFor 2-5euros, one of the boat will take you to one of the biggest marina of Europe. Ask to go to ‘Le port de plaisance des minimes’. There is also another beach there (larger than the one near the appartement). Watch out for the shells in the water!

Even if you don’t want to visit the aquarium, go there, grabs the elevator to the last floor (watch for the turtles when you get in the elevator) and enjoy a drink on their rooftop overseing of the Harbour. At the back of the bar, there is a large aquarium you can oversee that holds up some decent sharks! (For free)
