A beautiful city park with forested and waterfront trails. The memorial tower can be climbed from April 15 to November 15. 10 minute walk from the Air BnB to the first trail head.

Follow a wooded trail to this heritage site associated with a burial site for the remains of US military and others who died at a nearby prison (used during the war of 1812 and as a quarantine site). A plaque at the site lists the US service people who died there. The former prison building is across the water. Memorial Day (U.S.) service is held annually at the park. 10 minute walk to the park.
