Downtown Kelowna is a fantastic area. The local beaches are Tugboat Beach and Hot Sand Beach in Kelowna’s City Park. As much as Kelowna is known for it’s beaches and water sports, the downtown core is amazing for shopping, from great summer clothes and shoes, interesting, unique and eclectic retail stores filled with high quality, beautiful trinkets and fun finds, but has something for everyone. This area is the hot place for nightlife too; excellent restaurants, clubs and pubs with a wide variety of price levels. Our cultural district is filled with many wonderful interests and events. You’ll find the Playtime Casino, Prospera Place, Kelowna’s Art Gallery, Heritage Museum and The Laurel Packing House, among others. The Okanagan Spirit Tasting Room, Sandhill Winery, Yacht Club, Bike and Scooter rentals are walking distance.

The main beaches here are “Boyce - Gyro Beach, Rotary Beach and the smaller “Bluebird Beach”. There are many accesses along Lakeshore Dr.
