Great restaurant - The Stage.
Smaller VT town 15 minutes away. Very liberal. It’s as if someone plopped down 2 blocks of the lower Eastside of NYC into the foothills of Vermont.
Family friendly restaurants :
- lunch Bagel works ( sit in kids alcove)
-Hazels ( newer /new American)
-Echo ( long time local staple)
- Chelsea Diner ( 4 miles out of town. Great milkshakes/ local ice cream/beer)
- local brewery McNeils
- shopping Main Street. ( Sam’s- great outdoor sports store )
- Penelopes ( gift shop)
- Groceries Brattleboro CO-Op / Hannafords

Closest Small Store - The Big Deals
Need something small and don’t want to drive more than 2 miles. Eggs, Pizza, Beer, Wine, Milk, breakfast sandwiches (pretty good).
There might be a time when driving all the way to Keene in Brattleboro won’t do
