There are a number of great walking tracks to the summit, and around the summit (for those who want to drive up, but explore in a little more comfort!)

There are a number of great walking tracks to the summit, and around the summit (for those who want to drive up, but explore in a little more comfort!)
A fantastic walk along the foreshore of Townsville. complete with waterfront restaurants, ice creameries, and fish and chip stalls, it makes for a fantastic time! There are BBQ's for use of public (just BYO food, no alcohol in public) and water parks for the kids!

North Queenslands best aquarium. See the reef without getting wet! They run a Turtle sanctuary out of here as well and will run behind the scenes tours to see the turtle hospital twice a day. See the shark feeding, and even pet a shark or a starfish in the interactive exhibit.
